Kosovo’s FM Enver Hoxhaj sends condolences to Secretary Clinton over Connecticut tragedy

Prishtina, 14 December 2012 – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, has sent a telegram of condolences to the US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton over the last tragedy in an elementary school in Newtown in Connecticut.

On behalf of the people and the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, Minister Hoxhaj expressed his pain and sadness for this criminal act which took the lives of dozens of people, most of whom children.

In the telegram, Minister Hoxhaj expressed the full solidarity of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo with the families of the victims and with the US authorities and the entire American people in these difficult moments.

“The people and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo share the pain and sadness with the families that lost their loved ones and join the prayers of the American people,” reads the telegram.

Minister Hoxhaj expressed the highest considerations for the US authorities for their engagement in overcoming the situation created.
